Remote code I have a viewsonic flatscreen TV and need a code in order to use my dishnetwork DVR Remote.

    We have a Viewsonic Tv N2750W, Model # VS10576-1M. The remote is bad and we have bought three different ones and none of them will program with the code listed in the "list of codes". I figure there is either a TV sync button to use or they have the wrong codes listed. Thanks for your help

    I lost the remote to TV bought a new one. Viewsonic N3250. The code does not work. Now found the remote but it also does not work. Is there a reset on the TV that may get the remotes to work?

I had the same problem with a Viewsonic N3735W LCD TV and Comcast Customer DVR 3 Device remote. I contacted Viewsonic and they gave me 11454 which works.

I have a dish dvr remote and need code for Super Scan TV

I was unable to find any codes for a Super Scan TV in our system currently. You can always view our remote codes at the link provided below, but I have provided the steps for a Power Scan which will attempt to scan the code into your remote control.

Power Scan to TV:

1.) With the TV on, press and hold the TV button (about six seconds) on top of the remote until all mode button backlights come on, then release.
2.) Press and release the red power button, then press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the TV. If the code for the TV comes up, it will power off.
3.) Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the mode light flashes three times. To verify the code works try several different functions for that equipment.

Our remotes may not work all types of equipment, but there may be codes online for that TV model to try.

You didn't specify the code you need, for TV or another component, so I am providing a link for the codes that will provide information for different TV manufacturers, DVD players, amplifiers, etc. You can look for your brand for the correct code. A have also provided instructions on programming the remote to this component. I hope this helps.

Program to TV:
Remotes: Basic (Television Only)
  1. Turn the Television On
  2. Press and Hold the TV Power button for three seconds until the LED flashes
  3. Enter the three-digit code using the buttons on the number pad.
  4. Press OK. Note: The LED will flash three times.
  5. Test functionality with the TV
  6. Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.

I have bose v30, dishnetwork 612 dvr. When
I recommend you switch from using HDMI cables to using component (R/G/B RCA-style) cables. HD picture is superior through component cabling, and solves several HD picture issues.

What is happening is that when video resolution changes (like from regular programming to commercials) the video information is poorly sent down the HDMI line. Component cabling from your DVR will eliminate this problem.

With the TV 2 remote, it needs to be a UHF type remote. Since the signal goes through solid objects (walls, etc.), you should check to see if this remote has that capability. I have provided codes you can try to program the remote to the receiver. I hope this helps.
