This printer doesn't support a COLD RESET
However it will set customer accessible menu settings back to factory default settings

Restoring the factory-set defaults returns all of the settings to the factory defaults.
To restore the factory-set defaults
1. Use the (Left arrow) or the (Right arrow) button to select Service, and then press
(Select).
2. Use the (Left arrow) or the (Right arrow) button to select Restore defaults, and then
press (Select).
The device automatically restarts.

    Are you using HP supplies?
To get it to print use the "override out" option.

    1. On the printer, hit the big green checkmark to access the menu
    2. Select system setup -> print quality -> replace supplies.
    3. There should be an 'asterisk' (*) beside "stop at out"
    4. Hit the > arrow once, and the display should read "override out"
    5. Press the checkmark to confirm that "override out" is selected.
    6. Get out of the menu. The LCD should now display "override in use", meaning you can print until the cows come home.

If you can now print, print a supplies status page and see if there is anything else that needs replacing.
