Distorted picture I have another brand which is the Techwood 37722 and it uses the same Vestel main board17MB15E-7 as the Goodmans LD3755HD, Hitachi 37LD8700UH and Toshiba WLT68. The fault is similar after 10 or 15 minutes the picture becomes two distorted images and sometimes four with coloured bars. Initially some weeks ago there were faint diagonal green lines but I changed the PSU and they disappeared. The duration which a normal picture appears seems to be getting shorter.

Still having to do with your power anyway make sure your mains is not too high or fluctuating .if buy a voltage stablizer then change your power module

It does sound to me like the T-Con. If you can change the channels even though you can't see the picture then that's is a T-Con problem. Especially as you can see the lights. Before replacing any of the boards check for bad solder joints and poor connections between the boards, as the TV does sometimes function right.

unsure if you are trying for basic terrestrial transmissions (plugged into on-board Tuner) if so follow the guide above.

if you are trying to attach a digital tuner, that should just plug into the HDMI port and should work straight away.

Vestel make the power boards... its unlikely that they will help. Your best bet is ebay, look for 'main board'

I have an goodmans LD3755HD 18 months old and there is no power
yes its very much possible.you can also fix it.as you say that there is no power in the front pannel and no red light is comming up.its just the problem of fuse in the main board that needs to be replaced.it will cost you hardly under $1 for new fuse.replace it.

Cannot programme black diamond television.
Your universal remote control will only give you ch +/-,Vol.+/- and mute it will not give tuning or picture controls ie brightness, colour, zoom, the Blackdiamond are usually of Vestel make try searching for Bush,Vestel,Goodmans or try the search for code unknown in the remotes instructions it will operate the TV but please read the instructions carefully.

for cms voodoo, change your power module.
for tomchik, check your input voltage for voltage drop or fluctuation, if any employ voltage stabilizer, then change your power module. make sure that there is enough ventilation around your tv.
for bananahead , go and change your backlight inverter
