In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and RUN, then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Unplug the power cord from the printer. Hold down the red "X" button. Plug the power cord back in while holding down this button. Release the button. Should see flashing red and green lights. Unplug the power cord again. Replug. Should be reset.
There is an icon in the lower right corner of your screen. It looks like a printer. Double click on that icon then right click on the print job then click no cancel. It should hang there are refuse to disappear. what you do after this is to turn off your printer then turn it back on then restart your computer. It should be gone after that.
