I have an inventory stocktaking company and all my machines are Unitech HT630 I use to collect the barcodes placed on spare parts and other items. When I download the data, I find that some of the take barcodes were wrongly read with some signs instead of the number or letter and some times it reads part of the barcode which is the part number.
examples: original should be: 22654CG000 it reads 2265$G000 so here it ate the 4C and placed $ instead
another example original should be: 22654CG000 it reads 226%4CG000 or 22654 or 4CG000 and worth is when it reads a single number only like 2 or 4.
I use huge data collected and my clerks have no time to see each item number when collecting data as we are talking about 70,000 line items with few days to collect.
Any help for future stock counts as I was thinking of shifting machines to symbol. But that would be a non budgeted budget as i have 10 Unitech machines
