I have an orange light that blink between the paper select and the number display. I cannot make out what the pic is. Could it be that the toner needs to be replaced?
After turning it on and making copies it stays running like a fan noise for a short bit then it quits making the noise and the light blinks. and in order to make any more copies you hae to turn it off and on again. I do not have a user manual. Thanks

You are absolutly right. It needs toner. That symbol is the universal symbol for toner. ( dont ask me how they came up with that but its true.)
The reason the copier runs on when you turn it off and on is because it thinks you may have added toner and is trying to auger toner out of the cartridge into the machine. After a time it gives up and assumes the cartridge is empty..

The orange light illuminates a symbol. The symbol is this.
It is an arrow pointing downward and is pointing to one circle that is on top of two circles which is on top of three circles. Then this is enclosed in a square with the exception that the top of the square is open. Don't know if this will help anyone figure what my copier is trying to tell me or not.
