HI, I have a Bosch 500 series front loader 3 years old in daily use . My question is, approximately how long do the water hoses last and when should they be replaced? Hoping to hear from you soon Herby.

If you manually drain by lowering to drain hose into a bucket, you should be able to release the door lock by turning off the mains power. You can also try a reset.

• You will find a small door on the front bottom of the washing machine.
• Open it.
• Unscrew the filter and rinse it with running water.
• Put it back in place and repeat the above steps in reverse order.

This should solve your leakage problem.

I believe if you can get to it, put the hose end lower than your tub and it should drain. My front loader quit pumping and it was two quarters stuck in the pump.

I have the Bosch Vision 500 Series with the E:12 error. My issue was the water inlet valve. When the washer was filling up very little water could be seen coming into the washer and if you just hit the button eventual you would get enough water usually three times during entire wash cycle. Replaced the water inlet valve myself in about 5 minutes very easy. YouTube videos show exactly how to do it. Now the water comes in almost covering half of the front window. Just finished first wash without and problems.

E02 means the unit is not getting the proper amount of water or the drain is clogged and the unit is unable to pump the water out of the machine. Remove the round access panel on the lower right front panel and take the drain catch off by twisting it. Water will come out so be careful, remove and clear all the debris in the drain catch. If you do not find anything in the drain area you may have a clog either in one of the drain lines going to or coming from the pump in the unit. If you have assured that the pump and hoses are not clogged and the pump is working as well then you would look as a last resort at the water inlet valve. Assure firstly that the hoses are not frozen or debris clogged and shutoff the water and unscrew your hoses and check the filters in the screw in connector side or the inlet valve. Lastly if you have assured that there are no clogs with the drain area on the unit and there are no clogs going into the units water valve and you have tested for the presence of power at the solenoid at the top of the water valve and you had power you would replace the water valve. This sounds like the motor needs a new Carbon brush kit as it may be well worn.After 5 years this needs replaced......

you probably have the "burst free" hoses, this machine draws water too fast so the hoses think they burst, change the hoses to the original or get new ones that aren't burst free and this should solve your problem

could be drain hose is not high enough. I had the same problem and when I raised the hose it worked fine.
