Hi I have broken one of the keyboard legs (the legs which tilt the keyboard) on my HP Keyboard model no KG-0851, part of the HP - 200-5120uk which I bought in September 2010. Can you let me know where i can source a relacement please? Thank you Gerrie

The Acer KG-0973 is an RF keyboard that originally came with a wireless mouse and USB dongle. Both the mouse and USB dongle are needed to pair the keyboard to your computer.

Failing that, PC world, Curry's, Comet and/or Staples may be able to supply a replacement.

Best is to approach the Logitech support center or try the nearest computer service shop near to your place so as to get one from a condemed/scrapped keyboard .
Other wise the broken legs can be glued back easily with plastic welding using metal wire and glue.

Most of the time, when laptop keys are popped off of a keyboard, they can't easily be re attached. The good news is that an entire new keyboard is not too expensive, approx $15-20 on ebay. I bought one recently for my daughter's HP, and found instructions to swap it out online, and the whole process was about a 15 minute job. Give it a try!

its a usual problem.

i tell you how to clean it.

1. it would be nice if you clean it using a vacuum cleaner while the keyboard is tilted.
2. if not using the vaccuum cleaner then you can clean it using a piece of cloth.tilt the keyboard and hit the cloth on the keyboard in the downwrd direction.

go to your local bestbuy or other (tech) store and have them fix it for you.... half the time it is free :-)!

You need to replace the whole keyboard since the 4 letters is not working at all. You cannot change only 4 letter keys from your laptop.

Note: If machine is under warranty no need to pay for the repairs.

If you have droped any kind of liquid on the keyboard get it replaced
