Going give the same answer as last post I just responded to; See my post Clutch Fix but I recommend you go to real DIY forum. I can't find most of my repair post in this forum. This forum to me is a "Call In a repair tech forum" for this model and that is OK if you can't do basic DIY repairs. I don't want to put in a direct link to the washer repair forum of my choice so put in your browser this phrase; Appliance Repair Forums > Appliance Repair Talk > Washers > Maytag/Magic Chef/Admiral/Jenn-Air This is a true DIY Appliance repair forum. In the Sticky: Neptune TL Washer FAV6800AWW 5 post down you will find a link to the Service Manual. You absolutely need the Service Manual to DIY issues with the machine. It's not the best SM but will get you started. I also have repair post in that sticky to help with the most common issues with the machine. If you need help open a post in that repair forum and I will try help you through your issue.
Hello Deanna Lytle - Often when a unit does not spin, it is because the unit cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, the washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair the unit.
Hello Laura Clark - Does the drain pump make a humming noise? If so, you possibly have a restriction in the drain line or siphoning. Try setting the cycle to spin only and verify if water pumps out. If it does not, the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with the pump, door lock assembly or timer. Since it is such a complex unit, I suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately
