I need a replacement for my RZ-8198AVD mine was crushed by a car wheel when it fell!

Secure the vehicle on EVEN ground, preferably indoors. Place in Park, set the parking brake, and scotch the rear wheels. Use the jack to lift one side of the truck until you can place a jack stand under the AXEL. It can slip off the frame and crush you. A friend of mine died under a vehicle, and it was no fun. Repeat on other side. Once the stands are in place you can "walk" the truck higher with the jack and stands if you need more room. DO NOT exceed the height of the jack stands with blocks.

Ck your wiring going to that wheel/brake that over heated i have a feeling the the wheel speed sensor and or wiring to the sensor was also damaged possible melted

did you take both sides apart? if not just take the other wheel off and use it as a guide, both sides are a mirror image of each other.

Crush bearing may be worn, remove old oil try putting in synthetic oil in as a replacement se if that helps otherwise the side bearings and pinion shaft sealand crush bearing will have to be replaced and re torked, do soon as this could cost you big money if yo break a gear.

if the blue light flashes 4 times Main power led to on/off switch is crushed and not enough power gets through.
you have disassemble the camera.
I would think first before tring this.
Remove 3 screws on bottom, 1 in battery compartment, and 1 at very top of usb flap (look good).
Now slide the side piece starting at the usb flap then apply pressure to top and away from unit.
now look for 1 silver and three black screws (facing back and front, look good).
See the big red wire leading to main on off switch if it crushed thats the problem.
I replaced it with a longer piece of wire.
Remember to replace battery door first if it fell off during process.
*TEST NOTE: You can place batteries in and place a penny across the bottom to test before you put it back together.
