The USB port on this monitor is just the USB hub than expands your PC USB port to the monitor (USB port of the PC will have to be connected to the USB in of the monitor). It is not a stand alone USB port.

You need some sort of computer to watch a movie through the media station of the L2320A. The USB ports on the unit are a USB hub (one connection to the computer, two for devices); without a computer they are useless. Some of the media players (DVD/Blue-ray/media streaming units) that can play a movie from a USB drive without additional computing power. The format of the movie on the drive will limit which device can play the movie.
If you are using it as a computer monitor, it does not have a driver, it relies upon your video card to have the compatible format. This is consistent when using an HD TV as a computer monitor.
So Identify your video card, download the driver, even if it is an older operating system, the driver will still work if you are on the same basic architecture- 32 bit versus 64.
hi, you can store music on a usb memory stick from your computer then plug the memory stick into your stereo then you can play your music thats on the memory on your stereo.
it just means you can copy music from your pc and play it on your stereo via a usb stick so you could copy an album onto a memory stick then plug it into your stereo then you can listen to the album in your car, you can also store dvds onto a usb stick and play them in your car its just a way of getting more info onto your dvd player giving you the chance to play things you have on your pc. how ever some times you may have problems with certain formats and anything copied means you lose you warranty due to the fact your not using originals.
It works just as long as you first format your memory stick when you first insert it into your phone then drop and drag your MP3 formatted songs onto it via USB cable or through your MicroSD reader on your computer, just make sure it's in the correct folder which is the "my music" folder on the memory stick, then go to your media folder and play it from there.
