Does this machine have a fluff filter? Ive never had a washer dryer before. Always had a fluff filter in my dryer

I've never heard of a fluff filter but I know it has a lint screen that needs to be cleaned at least every 3rd load or so for peak performance.

After washes it displays check detergent. some washes are also not spinning properly and cloths are still quite wet. Can you help I have a miele gala grande w 3000

Hi dear.
Basically you can check fluff filter otherwise you may need to have a technical assist. Fluff filter located on front LHS bottom corner of your machine.. Open plastic cover. Place small bowl under fluff filter area to collect about 2 Lt of water. Slowly turn fluff filter anticlockwise to let it drain remaining water in there.. Then remove it and check for blockage. ( Step by step You can get full instruction from your machine's user manual on cleaning and care section.) If that does not solve the issue you may call Miele to assist you or local repairer. I hope that helps.Thanks.

Speedqueen does not wash clean. Always white fluff on clothes. Is there a filter to clean

Clean you 'lint filter' - see your instruction booklet or if you don't have it google your washing machine model and see where the lint filter is and how to clean it. It's usually a small pouch on top on the steel drum that you have to slide out and clean.
Hope this helps.

I cleaned out the fluff filter on my Miele W1918 and now the water is draining out the bottom. There is a small drain hose to the left of the filter that the water is flowing out of . Any ideas

hi,

the fluff filter just needs hand tightening up a bit more to stop the leak. if not there could be a bit of fluff trapped between the seals. Remove it again and have another look. Make sure also you don't cross thread the fluff flter which makes it feel like it is screwed in properly when it isn't

Hi i have a whilpool 5132E top load washing machine i bought second hand, my cloths collect fluff, especially the towels. Does thi model have a filter.thank you chrissie

no but it sound like the agitator has a sharp edge and chewing up the cloths feel your finger all the surface area of the plastic and feel for a gouge or rough area then get sandpaper or other type of item that will smooth it out and that should stop the fluff issue

LG FRont Load Washer Dryer WD-1256RD filling up with lint

If you have not done it already, replace the lint filter. Follow instructions on manual. The lint filter access should be on front side of machine.

Other users had same problem on this model, I quote:
"I've only had it 2 weeks so far. It seems to be collecting lint/fluff all around the rubber door lining"
Source here.

Sometimes there may be too much lint if you use excessive softener and detergent.

Hi there, i have recently purchased a maytag atlantis washing machine 2nd hand model MAV7750BGW,great machine only its leaving lint on cloths and i dont have a manual for it,can you please...

Hi,

To my knowledge, on most (but not all) washing machines, lint/fluff are collected on the wash cycle and flushed down with the water during drain cycle.

Since your machine is a Maytag, it is different. On most Maytag washing machines, lint/fluff is collected in the center tube of the agitator. It wold be necessary to lift out said tube and thereafter clean it on a regular basis. Some other models have a lint filter near the top of the tub, which you need to slide out, clean off, and reinsert. If for some reason there is no lint/fluff filter in your machine, this page shows how one can be made.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Whirlpool top loader 9 kg - I can't see any serial no.

There are no lint filters on this machine. The lint is pumped out with the water. There may be a restriction in the drain line starting where it connects to the tub or the small drain holes in the inner tub may be clogged.
