I used windows 7 in my acer aspire 4315 the cam would not work. message: camera not found but i install the driver eye crystal for windows 7 pls help

Download the chicony camera driver on the acer site. Select the one appropriate for your OS. It should work out fine after installing.

Check if you driver is correct, wether your operating system is 32 or 64 bit it should match the webcam driver.

You need to download the drivers for your crystal eye web cam. Go to this link: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

When you get there, select "Notebook"...then select "Aspire". Then scroll down and select Aspire 5755 Then where you see "Operating System", select your operating system (ex: XP, Vista, or Windows 7). It will then show all the drivers for your operating system...scroll down until you see the camera driver software and then download and reinstall it. Hopefully this will help...good luck.

Acer aspire has inbuilt web camera and therefore will work only if the correct drivers are installed. Please uninstall the drivers first from control/panel/add remove programs. Next reboot the system and then go ahead with the installation.

if ur drivers are updated from www.acer.com then u should look into settings of yahoo messenger and select and test ur camera but these settings will only work when u are online try if it helps check ur camera if it works somewhere else

Sounds like you have a driver problem, go to acer.com, download the drivers for your make and model for the cam drivers, make sure you select the right O/S.. exp Windows Vista, Windows XP.... and so forth..
