When I turn my Vizio on it doesn't come on ,no light or anything

Seems like your power supply isn't working properly.

My Vizio E322AR White Vizio Light comes on when plugged in, then slowly fades to "Off". I unplugged and replugged - same. I held down the power botton on the side, and plugged in... same. Vizio light comes on (White) and over 5 seconds or so... fades out to nothing.
Remote doesn't do anything, buttons on the side don't do anything.
Going to pull the back off and look for bad Capacitors, and test fuzes for continuity. Wish me luck ... will report back later with results.

I had this problem with VT470M and the white light would come on but the screen would freeze on opening screen and then after a couple times the white vizio light would come on but no picture no sound. I ordered a new main board after troubleshooting all the voltages and it worked. Vizparts.com trade in for 150.00. Well worth it. The main board tells all other things to turn on. The white light is your standby power which is good. Probably ur main board and ordering a new one worked for me.

you either have a faulty power supply or faulty main board. Vizio power supplies on the older sets are pretty decent. It's usually the main boards that go. These older main boards tend to be pricey so it may be better to buy a new set.

do you mean the power indicator at the front panel doesn't light.ok this kind of trouble is in power supply section since the stand by doesn't work. the first place to be check is the fuse if blown. if blown with darkened color that was an indication that has other component part that get shorted. at this time you will need a proper trouble shooting using the a device like a digital or analog tester. if you don't have enough idea on how to do the job and necessary tools, just send it to the trusted service shop to fix the problem.thanks for using the fixya.

This sounds like it might be a main board issue. Depending on the television brand there are different replacements you can get at different prices. I would try unplugging the tv from the wall first then try plugging it back in while holding channel up/volume up on the tv as you are plugging it back into the wall. If this doesn't change anything it is most likely a problem with your main board.

Check its power supply board. Replace it. Check the fuse.

Replace its power supply regulator board as card basis.

The instructions on letting the Hipi remote to seach for the code that came with my remote are not correct. I used the instructions from HOWTO.COM and printed below. There are two changes from the printed instructions. The first is to push the <TV> button after the <Code Search> button. The second is that the <Enter> button saved the code not the <MUTE> button.

Turn on the Vizio TV.

Aim the Jumbo Universal Remote at the Vizio TV and hold down the "Code Search" button on the remove for roughly 3 to 5 seconds. The LED lights on the Jumbo Universal Remote will come on.

Press the "TV" button at the top of the Jumbo Universal Remote.

Start pressing the "ON/OFF" button repeatedly until the Vizio TV turns off. (This took only a few tries for my Vizio TV)

Press "Enter" on the remote immediately after the Vizio TV turns off to save the code.

Test the Jumbo Universal Remote by trying to control the Vizio TV with the remote. If the control doesn't work with the remote, repeat the entire process.

Generally if its not capacitors that have failed there are no visual signs of bad components, try replacing the board if your not able to troubleshoot it
