Hi, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service. I came across your post and wanted to see if I could help. The information you provided leads me to believe that you will need to address your DISH Network remote to your Toshiba TV. There are a few different codes for each of our different models of remotes. I will list here for you the codes for our more popular models of remotes and also the instructions for addressing your remote to your TV. I hope you find this information useful and if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to email me anytime at [email protected] and I will be happy to help!
Instructions for addressing the remote to the TV
Note: The LED will flash three times.
Disconnect the AC power for at least one minute to reset the clock.
Adjust the volume to the minimum using the Volume down button on the front of the unit.
Press and hold the Volume down button on the front of the unit and the 0 button on the remote control at the same time, holding them down for at least 10 seconds.
The user menu will appear with the V-Chip cursor blinking.
Press the ENTER key on the remote control and the NEW PASSWORD menu will appear.
Enter your new password.
The V-Chip is bypassed by holding the zero key on the original remote hand unit, and at the sane time holding down the volume down on the front of the TV set. This should reset the oide so you can enter a new one.
