LG 50PC1DRA 50 in. Plasma Television Logo

My LG 50pc1dra has started to turn on by itself. It no longer responds to any remote. It's connected to Direct TV and a Bose 321 system. The menu screen comes on randomly and disappears randomly. I replaced the power supply last fall and had several months of blissful service until this latest nightmare.

SOURCE: how do i change out the power supply for an lg

It is all plug in. The only thing you MUST do is using a digital volt meter is make sure your VS,VA voltages are exact to the label on the top of the display panel. If you don't you will wind up with catastrophic failure of other boards in a very short time. They must be set set to a pure white screen.

SOURCE: LG TV no longer responds to the remote control..

I think I like solution #01 (free) over solution #02 ( you have to pay). I have a LG 32 inch. There is no Headphone jack input in the back of the set but there is a remote input. I cleaned all inputs with air can: voila! My remotes now work! This Website saved me a few bucks. THANKS!

SOURCE: I have a LG 42LD 550 just got it, couple day, it

Yes its faulty. This is not me being funny. The 42" TV has had many faults and weas under recall. LG does not mean good life. It means lotta garbage. If this is new take it back and have it replaced. Preferbaly with a different brand. If it was second hand it has to have minimum guarantee and be covered up to 7 days for colling off and trial period.

Get it back fast, the repair cost is sky high ( $600)

Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

Have a Bose 3-2-1 Series III. When I put in a DVD, I get sound through the Bose but no picture on my Pioneer TV. This is the second time it has happened. The first time it, we managed to get it going...

Here are 3 things to try and an if all else fails at the end.

1) Make sure the TV is set to the correct Video Input to see the video from DVDs on the Bose system.
• Make sure a DVD is in the disc tray.
• If the TV is connected to the media center using the HDMI cable:
Switch from one Video Input to another and then back to the original input.

2) Turn everything off, then:
Turn on the TV and set the TV Video Input for the Bose system video.
Turn on the Bose system and press DVD.

3) Turn off both the TV and the Bose system and then:
Unplug the HDMI cable from both ends.
Disconnect the power cables from both your TV and the Bose 321 system.
Re-connect power to the TV and to the Bose 321 system.
When the Bose 321 system startup message disappears from the display,
re-connect the HDMI cable to the TV then Bose 321 system.
Turn on the TV first, then turn on the Bose 321 system.

If all the above fail then disconnect the HDMI cable that connects the TV to the Bose 321 system and reconnect the two using a Component cable, an S-Video cable, or the Composite cable provided with the system.

When listening to bose 321 system what should the volume of the tv be set at?

OFF. Unless the TV is the original source of what you're watching (antenna). Otherwise, your programming is probably coming from a cable/sat box with all the digital audio goodies, right?

If your TV has a menu for setting the volume out its RCA connections I would recommend you set it to whatever resembles FIXED, so it's volume control won't kill the stereo analog audio going out to the Bose. Then you can turn it off at the TV and listen through the Bose.

For the best multichannel audio you should get it digitally from the original source you're watching on the TV, but NOT from the TV itself.

Xbox 360 and bose surround sound no video

If your TV is HD, you should definitely be connecting the component video cables (green, blue and red) from the 360 to the TV (the 321 will not do video pass-thru from component cables). -Make sure you have a picture at this point. (TV switched to whichever input you connect the 360 to)
You can get an RCA extension cable for the audio portion (red and white) to connect to the 321 for audio. You could also connect an optical audio cable to the 321. An optical cable must be assigned from the system menu to work..
Let me know if this helps.

How do i get my playstation 3 to connect to my bose 321 system?

Very simple. Red and White RCAs into any available input on the back of the 321. If the PS3 A/V cable can't separate the audio from the video (yellow RCA) by length of cable then get an RCA extension.
You can also connect this digitally with an optical cable (better sound) but you need to assign the optical cable to an input from your system menu. Your system menu can only be displayed on the TV from the video out of the 321. Go to "media center" and then down to "optical source"

Connecting bose 321 system to lg hd flat screen, bose receiver plays fm am ok threw speakers.tv will not play threw bose speakers.bose dvd plays sound ,but no picture

You will need a Component Video Cable
Connect the Red Green and Blue Connections from the TV to the Bose.

if your audio is coming from the TV, also connect stereo audio from the TV's audio out to the "TV" input on the bose.

if you want to hook up other devices (VCR, BluRay, etc) the video will go directly to the TV and audio will go directly to the Bose
