  1. Check the voltage going to the drain pump, and replace the drain pump if it is found to be bad.
  2. If you are getting no voltage to the drain pump, your control board or drain pump wiring may have been damaged.
  3. If the machine fills up with water, but doesn't drain, this is usually fixed by replacing the drain pump, un-kinking and clearing out the drain hose, or cleaning the drain pump and hoses out.

Washer works fine until it starts filling on the rinse cycle, then the water just flows out of the drain. Last night the water was running for 3 hours, before I realized it. The tub fills fine when it is...

Make sure the drain hose is not sealed to the drain pipe, and that the hose is not shoved into the drain allowing the end of the hose to reach the trap. That will prevent the machine from syphoning out the rinse water as it fills.

Whirlpool Washer - Imperial Series Quiet Wash 2

your washers drain hose is too far down the drain pipe which is causing a siphoning action pull the washers drain hose out pipe some you should be able to hear water dropping into the pipe the reason it only happens in the rinse cycle is because the water from wash is being drained and before the water vacuum is broken the rinse water comes in causing it to keep draining
