I just bought a Deluxe VM .... when I plug it in, the red delay light is on....and everything has delay on it. When I press the little white button on the amp in or out, the red light on the amp still stays on. On the stompbox, all the other functions (Drive, Reverb, Chorus) light on or off when pushed and engage with the sound on the amp. But for the delay, the red light on the stomp box never goes on, and the red light on the amp never goes off. Any ideas ?? Thanks !

I guess the switch is broken - if you are not experienced fixing those problems better bring it to a shop and tell them about the problem - i guess they will be able to fix it easily

My Fender deluxe VM soound started cutting out on me last nite-I narrowed it down to the actual amp-outside gig and very hot and humid. Amp is less than a year old-anyideas? tube problem?

Inout connectors are often broken by tripping overr cables resulting in intermittent operation. Wiggle plug and then each pot to see if anything shows itself. Circuit board cracks and broken solder joints are suspect as well.

On my fender blues deluxe, there is a red light which is usually off. I get intermittent loss of sound, and when this happens, the red light comes on. Any ideas what's wrong? Many thanks Brian

Hi.
If the red light is coming from a tube and you notice a loss of sound when it lights up, try reseating the tubes. You have to make sure that the amplifier is cool and is not plugged in to any power source when you do this and you have to be very very careful with the glass tube as well.
If the red light comes from an LED, it may be an indication of a bad wiring. Check if all wires are in good condition and are soldered correctly.
I hope this helps. Thanks. :-)

Fender VM Deluxe Volume is fine for 2/3 mins then falls to almost zero. This happens on both channels. I've changed all the valves and it still does it. What do you think it is?

Start by monitoring the power supply voltages when it fails. At what point does it return? Is it intermittent or do you have to do something specific to start it working again.?

No signal, or in and out ,not battery or preamp

This appears to have a built in tuner. When you press the tuner button, that kills all output. Make sure the tuner is OFF to get output.

Have just bought a new Deluxe VM. It was going nicely but now it's seems to be losing volume, swelling and cutting in and out. Have checked all leads and guitar and nothing wrong there. Any suggestions...

Since it is new, do NOT touch anything until you exercise your warranty for repair.

If they send it for repair, make SURE you get a copy of the repair ticket for your records.

Power indicator light is red and the system does

It is an indication of a bad speaker cable providing a short. If it stays lit with no speaker cables plugged in it is an indication that it needs to be serviced.

My akai ewi 4000s kind of froze

Please try to reset the ewi. You can do this like this: Shut down ewi. Press down the four little white buttons Level, FX, Setup and Trans. Keep them pressed while starting up the ewi.
This is a factory reset.

I hope this works for you.

Sounds like only one amp is working. Then after a few minutes the red light goes on and the unit shuts down.

90 % of these types of problems are caused by faulty leads .... make sure that you have correct speaker cables and not just a regular guitar cable
