I am trying to type numbers with more than 3 digits and the program changes them to 3 digits, for example: typing 30000 , appears 300 in the cell. help!

  • pauli21 Feb 25, 2011

Thanks you but I have done that but it doesn't work. The numbers I am trying to type don't have decimals, line 250000 or 18000, The strage thing is that in the edit menu it says:"Undo typing 250000" , (?) but the cell sows 2500. Other thig: if i try to add more zeros, it changes to 250 !!!!
The only wai to type this numbers is by using scientific notation (in this example: 25e4) and then changing to the format option "number", But it is too tricky, is'n it?

  1. Right click on the the letter at the top of the column you are entering the larger numbers in and choose "format cells" from the drop down menu.
  2. Then click on "number" and this is where you can set the number of decimal places or other adjustments.
Thanks,
Robert

How and where do i get music to download to my samsung gravity 3?

You will either need a USB cable( to move more than about 5 songs at a time) or you can just email the songs to your phone WITH OUGHT data charges. I usually use email to send ringtones/songs to my internet-less phone, because I don't want to buy a cord. You can buy a cord on amazon Here, though:http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Gravity-T479-Data-Cable/dp/B003XIA4O8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1306439716&sr=8-3
The way you would do this is by sending it to your text message inbox. Actually, when you buy your phone, the provider gives you an email adress to go along with it. So to send a message to your phone:
1.Open up your email
2.Where it says "To", type one of these numbers:
Alltel [10-digit phone number]@message.alltel.com
Example: [email protected] AT&T (formerly Cingular) [10-digit phone number]@txt.att.net
[10-digit phone number]@mms.att.net (MMS)
[10-digit phone number]@cingularme.com
Example: [email protected] Boost Mobile [10-digit phone number]@myboostmobile.com
Example: [email protected] Nextel (now Sprint Nextel) [10-digit telephone number]@messaging.nextel.com
Example: [email protected] Sprint PCS (now Sprint Nextel) [10-digit phone number]@messaging.sprintpcs.com
[10-digit phone number]@pm.sprint.com (MMS)
Example: [email protected] T-Mobile [10-digit phone number]@tmomail.net
Example: [email protected] US Cellular [10-digit phone number]email.uscc.net (SMS)
[10-digit phone number]@mms.uscc.net (MMS)
Example: [email protected] Verizon [10-digit phone number]@vtext.com
[10-digit phone number]@vzwpix.com (MMS)
Example: [email protected]

3.Attach files just as you would a picture.
4.send, and you should recieve as a text message.
Hope this helps:-)

Steps to figure out formulas in excel

Hello this is Baris,
If you forget about the numbers and start naming your cells you can figure out your own formulas... Example :)

You buy apples, and you pay $2 per piece

in this case you have 2 numbers to find out how much you will pay.

price per apple
quantity

you have 3 apples you pay 6 dollars very simple right. 2 times 3.

Same thing in excel but this time you will just say price times quantity and excel will do the calculation for you.

Lets name your cells
Type in A1 Price
Type in B1 Quantity
Type in C1 Cost

Now, Column C is your calculation area.
Type in A2 2 (price for apples)
Type in B2 3 (quantity of apples)
Type in C2 =A2*C2 (price times quantity)

Now on, you don't have to calculate anything. You can change you price and quantity, cost will change by itself. Because the value in that cell is now related to other values in A2 and B2. I hope this gives you a starting point.

try resetting it... Will probably rid you of your problem.

2nd>Mem(+ sign)>reset> right 2c(ALL at top should be highlighted)>yes

You will need to reload all your programs, and while your at it you should probably update the OS from the TI site...
