We have Zenith Rear Projection TV Model R57W46. It is bought in 2004. After switching on the TV, it is showing multiple pictures in the back ground. All the text/headings etc also appearing multiple times with which not able to watch the picture properly. Your immdeate assistance will rellay help us alot.

This sounds like the power supply went out. If you have an indicator light on the set and nothing else works. It could be the bulb though

the static sound may be due to a defect in the high voltage circuits, IE Fly-back transformer or and voltage multiplier, posibly high voltage leads to the CRTs arching to ground, finally horizontal sweep circuits

Only if you use an Antenna to get all your channels

you will need to replace the convergence ICs and possibly the feed resistors. You can get the convergence repair kit at the following link and they send instructions that show how to replace the Convergence Ics. Heres the link look under the convergence repair kits category for your model.

Is Your correct model number a zenith R57W46? If it is your set doesnt have a lamp. Its a CRT projection so you have 3 CRT (picture tubes) RED GREEN an BLUE

i got a zenith tv and the picture is really blurry how do i focus it ?

go to the nearest PC repair shop..your board/processor burned out.

or if you have still a warranty for the laptop better contact the  supplier were you bought it and as for a replacement.

Hello Was wondering if you ever found anything out how to reset the IC Screen Numbers or what the factory numbers all are on the Zenith Rear Projection TV Model # R57W46? I have the same problem ! My 2 year old son, not knowing how he did it cuze only a technecian is suppose to get into this screen, but he did change numbers in the too. I called zenith themselves and no luck ! My screen is bowed , etc.. Any Help ?
