Colour tube has gone buddy go for led next time
What is the cost of a color tube? I've always heard that it's cheaper to buy a new TV then purchase a color tube.
First, see if your tv has a video-mute function be sure its off. If your not sure check your owners manual for this feature. Then double check your video input connections on the back of the TV, see if any are loose or misplaced.
If all the above check good, then read below .....
The Y-sustain and buffer circuits have an overload condition (short). The current gain in both circuits are too high because of a faulty component in either circuits. Supply voltage too the Y-sustain output and buffer input are canceled. This is why you have audio and no video..
The TV needs to be opened and serviced, i can show you what to do no probs
i am sorry i thought these tvs had a tube but they have been replaced with a y and x sustain unit i would not buy another tv this will fix it no probs and is not hard it is only 125 dollars this will 1000 percent fix the tv
what to do is buy the part and i will make a video showing how it is fitted
i can garuntee this will fix it and you will get many many years more from your tv
also if you think i may be wrong dont worry because if it was not to work as long as you dont damage the part you can return it saying it is the wrong part they have a 14 day return policy
i will guide you through this and i honestly would say do not buy a new tv it would be a complete waste and also selling it would be a waste this will give you many many years with the tv the thing is there is not many parts in these tvs there is a screen speakers and this unit and power supply the power supply is the only thing that could break but it is really really rare for this to happen and if it did it is only 70 dollars so you must see where i am coming from theoreticly you could keep this tv for ever as if anything else goes wrong the most it can cost is 125 dollars meaning another y unit so as you can imagine a new tv costs alot and espesially one as good as this so what i mean is you must see it is well worth it to fix it as they chances of anything else breaking out of wear is like 2 percent and if it does maybe 5 years down the line then it wont cost alot so you are getting great value for you cash you payed for the tv and btw it is not common for the y unit to go it dosent happen alot its just your luck lol
i look forward to hearing from you
please give me a testimonial thanks
owe btw you should really replace the y upper buffer and y lower buffer to it is not essential but it would be a good investment
