Use an ohmmeter across all the windings, they should be a few ohms (my washer is 2.3 to 2.7 ohms). There is probably a service manual inside the front, bottom panel that will give you the exact range for your motor and that also gives you the pin definition of the connector so you know what pins the different windings attach to.

From what I just read if the same model sounds like the motor sensor could be bad It says it should read around 118 ohms at the two yellow wires when disconnected at the board.
Not sure if the motor will have to be replaced if the sensor is bad

My front load GE washer would not drain . balance looks fine. pulling the power source and replugging did not help WCVH6800J1WW Serial IS205695T -

if this washer has a control board on top of motor try opening the lid six times within 6 seconds... then start washer .... if it does have board ontop of motor look at board is green indicator lit up if not replace fuse link white wire with red line threw it from motor has a one time fuse link in wire replace fuse link or jump across to test

  • Test the lid switch
  • Test the timer control
  • Test the centrifugal switch
  • Test the water level switch
  • Inspect the motor cupler
  • Inspect the drive belt (belt drive only)
  • Inspect under the washer for soot (clutch)
  • Test the motor
  • Inspect the pulley
  • Test the transmission

No spin - agitate

Hi,

You just do this

  • Test the lid switch
  • Inspect the motor coupler
  • Inspect the drover belt (belt drive only)
  • Inspect under the washer for soot (clutch)
  • Test the motor
  • Inspect the pulley
  • Test the transmission
  • Inspect the Agitator
  • Inspect the pump coupling
  • Test the Water switch level
