Colour band at base of page

We have a problem with our Kyocera FS-C5030N. When it prints a page set to "Letter" in the MP tray, at high colour resolution, we get a coloured band at the base of the page. It only happens when the page is set as "Letter" not A4, and only from the MP tray. I cleaned the printer yesterday, and we still have this problem. I have looked through the Operation guides, and they dont mention this specific problem..

If you know of any solutions, I would love to hear from you.

Check for the latest print driver and eventually for the latest firmware. You may have to switch the print driver to PCL instead of KPDL (Auto). Ask your service provider to do that if you don't have the knowledge.

I think that you have used the lens cleaner and then have not pushed it all the way back in.

KYOCERA FS C5030N PRINTS ONLY THE FIRST PAGE OF A PDF DOCUMENT. IT SPOOLS THE # OF PAGES IN THE DOCUMENT BUT ONLY PRINTS THE FIRST PAGE.
make sure you are using the KX PRINTER DRIVER first
if so..
tray changing the pdl format
in the printers and faxes area right click on your printer
right click go to properties.
click on device settings tab (you have this if you are using the KX driver)llhopefully you are
you will see a button (pdl) click on pdl
changed pdl to pcl5e

Kyocera FS-c5030N printing pages yellow
Push in the charge corona assy. Its behind the left door. Each color has a cleaning rod and charge assy. I've seen this more than once.

Set up KYOCERA FS-1350DN printer
you need to scroll thru your menus...paper handling section...make sure mp tray is set to FIRST..that way it will pull from the mp tray untill it is empty than switch to your cassette

I have a Kyocera FS-C5030N and I cannot get the machine to print from the MP tray. It will always pull from the bottom tray, no matter what the settings.
first of all, if you don't get any massege on the screen of the printer, it's mines that you don`t select the MP Tray on the driver.
before you print you press the "print preference" button and choose the MP Tray at the Paper source

My Kyocera FS-C5030N is printing blank pages
there are a good few possibilities... your cheapest route is to call a local service tech... anything I tell you is going to cost you more... call him and see what he says... but I am leaning towards bad ram best case and worst case a blown main board...

Printer will only print page 1 of multiple page documents
1. Check that you are using the latest print driver - from kyocera website.
2. If the issue is when you print pdf files then make sure you set the printer in KPDL Auto mode - check the print driver settings about this and the printer menu.
3.You may check if you have the latest firmware installed within the printer - print a service status page (Menu->Others->Service).
