Hi , i have been using avery templates and label paper at work for ages and always printed off without problems on my lexmark . I bought a Kodak however and all of a sudden I could no longer print off my labels , when I put paper in it just came out blank and said paper wrong size .I could not find any solutions at all and was tearing my hair out . I just kept trying different things and all of a sudden I changed a setting and it worked perfectly. When you go to print your label change the ' scale to paper size ' function to A4 and then it will print.
hope this helps

Same problem. Have tried multiple fixes. Nothing works. Seems this started to happen when I noticed the labels have a different border.

You might try setting up Word for a 'custom' label since it offers that option.
I've done some strange labels by directing Word via that feature.

You have to feed the labels through the manual feeder.

Also, what I did was to first back all of the labels out and back into the reel. Turn machine off, then back on. With the peel lever down, as mentioned above, begin to load the labels as shown. The light will blink and it will make a noise as it senses the label. It will begin to draw the label in and you need to make sure you create tension on the labels as they are being pulled in. I accidentally did this by holding pressure against the reel, and sure enough, the thing pulled the first label into place and quit frickin blinking!!! Labels printed fine afterwards!

Black ink printing on the reverse? On the wrong side of the page? I hate to ask, but is it possible that the labels just need to be turned the opposite way when you put them in the printer?

Printing avery labels

You need to check the driver settings inthe printer properties and make sure that you are selecting labels as the paper stock. Often times this will adjust the fusing temperature so the toner is melted thoroughly on the label. You may also check the toner..some compatible brand toners do not do well on Avery labels.

Printing avery labels on epson workforce 630

My Epson XP-7100 would not print Avery labels no matter what settings I used for the paper, weight, format in the printer properties. So I used the PRINT function in Word and did "Microsoft Print to PDF". Then I used the resulting pdf and printed it onto the label sheet in my Epson XP-7100. Worked great.

Does seem that if Epson printers can't print using the label file in Word, that at least Epson would put a work-around solution on their website. I had to figure this one out on my own. Although it is easy and relatively quick to do, I took a lot of time to come up with a way to print my Avery labels. Epson, get on the ball!

I have a Kodak ESP 5200 series printer. When I try to print Avery 8160 address labels the sheet comes out not printed.

Hi

You can try and download the label again from below link--

Avery 8160 label download

Click the "Download Template" button. Enter your info and click "Submit". Follow the prompts to download the file. After you download your Avery template, be sure to remember where you saved the file on your computer and the file name. Open Microsoft® Word or an Adobe® program for your template and select File > Open to navigate to the drive and folder to open your template. Use the program's formatting and printing features to edit and save your template. For Microsoft® Word users - If the template looks like a blank page, select Table > Show Gridlines to view the template layout.
Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

My Kodak esp 3200 won't print labels on Avery label pages. WILL print the labels on regular copy paper. Any suggestions on what to do?

I am having the same problem except you didn't address the problem. It's not that the printer prints badly, jams or crashes. The printer literally passes the label paper through the printer and then prints on the next piece of copy paper. I reset my printer not to print the last page first and it still did it. Then I put the label paper second in the feeder. It passed through the first piece of copy paper and the
labels and printed on the third. It's like the printer senses the thicker paper and skips it. My printer is a Kodak ESP C315 and I have no setting for thick paper only plain and photopapers.

Printer Jam - when i put a sheet of Avery labels, printer jams

When you say TOP TRAY, do you mean a paper drawer, or the BYPASS TRAY? If the labels won't feed into the bypass but bond paper does, check to see if your labels are made for inkjet printers. Go to www.avery.com and contact Avery customer support to see what product they recommend for your MFC. Labels made for plain paper printers sometimes do not work for inkjets, and vice-a-versa.
