Not sure what you mean, but if your sd card is not being recognized by your laptop it could mean you need to reinstall your drivers.
Before doing this try using a different sd card incase there is a problem with the one you are using.

Have you tried re-seating the memory, if yes and still not booting then it is most likely the mainboard as it was the most common faulty item with this series.

Please remove your hard drive and reboot your laptop. If your laptop displays the BIOS screen, then your hard drive is dying or dead. Also, unplug the main battery to test it.

I don't see a question above, so I'll just assume that you're asking how to fix your computer so that you can connect to the internet. Is that correct?

If so and since you have reset your computer back to factory settings, you should check that all of your software is updated to the latest versions. This would include your operating system and drivers.

Then, you should check that your computer can connect to the internet via ethernet (RJ-45) cable. You would want to directly connect your laptop using the ethernet cable to your router. If this works, you can move on to trying to connect via Wi-Fi. If this doesn't work, you should check that there are no software/driver issues and/or hardware issues with your computer.

If you are trying to connect via Wi-Fi, again you will want to check that all drivers and software are up to date (so that you are on the latest versions of your operating system and the Wi-Fi care inside your computer has the latest driver so that it can connect to your wireless router). Then you will want to attempt to connect and most likely re-input your Wi-Fi password.

Under;
1) Select Product Family, click on Notebook, Ultrabook.
2) Select Product Line, click on Aspire.
3) Select Product Model, scroll down; click on 5552

Under the Supported OS heading it will state Windows 7.
A brief pause, the a small window will pop up, asking whether you have Windows 7, or 8.

Click where needed, then click on the Document tab.

That means you have a crummy internal wireless card. Your best bet would be to purchase a USB wireless card and your problem will be solved.
