Hello :)

  1. You shall connect your camera to the PC, via the USB cable which was in the box with your camera. Be sure to use a battery with sufficient battery power.
  2. Next press the up and down arrows, on your camer,a to select "PC" as USB mode. If it is already set to "PC", the camera will be automatically connected to the PC, wiithout displaying the "USB mode" selection screen.
  3. Go to "My Computer", and double click on "Removable Disk"
  4. Double Click the "DCIM" folder
  5. Your videos are there, along with your pictures. Just copy and paste them to a folder in your hard disk drive

How to upload vid fro easyshare m863 to comp?

If you are not able to find your connecting cable. and i am assuming your need is to transfer the data to comp. Well what you can do is you can take out the memory card and fix it into the card reader (you will get a card reader vey cheap anywhere.). and connect it to your comp. Now your card will work as a flash drive and you can transfer data easily then... Hope this helps you out.. :)

Trouble uploading photos onto new comp.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.
