Normally, with Android devices, if you enter the wrong pattern five times in a row, the device will give you an option to enter your Google account information (e-mail address and password). Once you have done this, it will let you reset your security pattern.
If this doesn't work, the next best thing to try would be a firmware update. The firmware update process will wipe the root of the device (but leave your SD card and books intact), basically resetting it to factory settings, before you even set a security pattern.
Should this fail to work, contact Velocity Micro Support by calling 1-800-296-4312 or visiting their Support website.

I've not had much experience with this device. A hard reset might fix it, but I don't know how to do that.
