How to remove ink?

Depending on the exact Canon Pixma model (there are many, for example, Pixma MX340, Pixma MP280, Pixma MG3220), the method varies.
Here are three YouTube videos on how to change the ink of 3-different Canon Pixma printers:

How to fix a canon pixma MP 280 with errors e14 and e05 with a continuous flow system attached?

For error e 1 4 = better take it out and wipe the smudges
for error e 0 5 = check the ink catridge, when ciss installed most installer make mistake by making the red ink hole at the circle made on it. you must make the hole slightly under it, the small hole. the big round is under the thick plastic lid, so the pipe we put will make the catridge move from the original position. or your cartridge just spoilt.

I haven't a cd for instal canon MP280,can you need me per favore?

Go to this page, select the tab Drivers & Downloads, and select driver. If you already connected the printer and Windows Vista/7 said it's installed and ready to use, you do not need to do this, nor you need a CD. I hope this will solve your problem, if not, do not hesitate to get back to FixYa. Thank you for using FixYa's service, and have a great day.

Hello, I installed GIMP but still my pc doesn't recognize my mp280 scanner. Printing does succeed though. thank you for your support!

It's possible you don't have the scanning drivers installed. Head to the Canon driver download page and select your operating system on the right. You'll probably want the "MP280 series MP Driver Ver. 1.01" for Windows.
