I found a company in South Karea that sells it.
But won't sent to USA because a agreement with HP NOT TO SELL IN USA.
HP says that printer part is not servisable!
Well, is hard to get to it.
You will have to literaly take it appart completely to the basic componets and labor would be more expensive than the part.
Make it pieces!
And the put it back, no worthed.
In those 3er World countries where all goods are limited, they have to make hearts out guts!

Is a shame on HP, so much corporative greedines plus a build-in obsolete timeout.

Epson Printer surpases HP buy far.

The HP chip tech anti counter fit is profane, a 1 year old baby can hach it !

No, it can't be done. if your product is less than a year old and/or In-warranty. Call Hp tech support at 800-474-6836 and ask for a printer replacement.

I get broken gear in my hp officejet pro 8500a

Someone pulled hard on jammed paper to remove it from the printer. This has broken the small plastic paper advancing gear on the left-hand side of the printer (have seen this mistake a number of times). The printer is broken and cannot be fixed, and it is time to purchase a new one. What you and everyone needs to learn from this is to NEVER pull hard to remove paper out of your printer. Be careful, and open the access doors to get to it.

We would suggest that you upgrade to an HP 8600 series printer and if you print more than 500 pages per month you purchase an AdaptiveInk continuous ink supply system (CISS). Adaptive Ink Continuous Ink Supply System Home Page Adaptive Ink HP Pigment ERC

My HP officejet pro all in one 8500 wireless keeps flashing "clear paper jam then push ok"..... I have pushed ok, it will run its course and then flash the same message. I have tried turning it...

This error message is displayed by the printer when paper is jammed in one or more locations. In such a case, users are recommended to remove the jammed paper from the specified location. The entire paper path must be checked for any pieces of paper. To stop the message, open and close the top most cover of the printer. Lastly, verify the flags and the sensors. If the problem persists, the cause of the error message could be a broken sensor or sensor lever.

HP Officejet 8500 says "Paper

There is definitely a paper jam. It's up to you to find it. Sometimes it's a very small piece of paper. I have worked with these printers before. If it says paper jam, that means there is a paper jam. Look a little bit more closely. I garranty you 100% there is a paperjam.

I keep getting a printer jam error for the hp officejet 8500 wireless, no paper jam, have done everything HP suggests and still won't work. Can anyone suggest what to do other than buy a new printer?

Hi
This is a coomon problem with the printer the best thing to do is call HP and advise them of the issue. I recently had a customer who did this and even know it was out of warranty they replaced the printer.

Thanks

I have an 8500 inkjet pro series. The machine indicates a "paper jam." When it tries to load the paper, after a boot cycle, it makes a noise like gears trying to engage, a sort of clicking...

There will be something in there, whether it is toner/ink over a sensor, a paperclip/staple, or a tiny scrap of paper.
The trick with this one is patience, methodically strip it down as far as you can, checking as you go for stuck material, and once you have gone as far as you can put it back together nice and slowly, looking for broken connections and loose bits, then try it again.

If there is nothing in there then the printer has something broken and needs looking at by a technician, in this case you should turn to your warrenty.

Paper Jam HP OfficeJet 8500

etechrepair.jpg Constant jam indication. This gear is more than likely the cause after exhausting all other avenues. Also nearly impossible to get to let alone replace even if HP offered the part. There is a black cover over the clutch assy that can be removed to reveal the gear. In most cases the gear is either sitting in the bottom of the machine or split down one side. This is the second machine that I have diagnosed with this problem in a very short time. If you have this broken gear, consider it toast. Matt / E-tech Copier and printer repair.
