I finally got my memorex blu-ray player set up with the tv and went on to get on netflix which Im a member and I think I need an activation code for the player, the only thing netflix could give me was mvbd2535 but that code said it was invalid

Using Netflix on your Samsung TV or Blu ray player

The latest software update from magnavox has caused their blueray players to not play netflix.
The technician I talked to couldn't fix it and admitted their latest update has a bug that won't let netflix play.
They refused to let me load the previous version that would let netflix play !!!!!
Believe me I will think twice before ever buying a magnavox product ever again !!!

Follow these steps:
1. Connect your device to the internet
2. Find and start Netflix on your device
3. Netflix will provide the activation code on your device

Access this Netfix website on you PC and click on the menu option "Instantly to your TV"

Enter the code provided by your player into the prompt and it should immediately give you access!

Regarding the problem with the sound on your DVD player, I would suggest you to make sure the audio cables (red and white) are connected properly to the TV and player.

Also, try using a different set of cables since those ones might not be working and this is why you are not getting audio. On the Memorex remote you will find a mute button, make sure it is not activated.

Getting the netflix activation code requires you to log on to the netflix website, enter your code, and then your Blu-Ray player will stream Netflix.

You will need a Netflix account forthis to work...otherwise you will not be able to use the Netflix service.

if you have the netflix logo on the player then connect a cat5 cable from your router to the back of your player to hook it to the internet. It will download an update with your approval if its a success then your TV connect to anynet which will load then display if you would like to search youtube, anynet, netflix, or blockbuster. Select netflix and it will go through a series of legal stuff. press next, next, next and then it will give you a code screen displayed on the tv. Go to your computer and access your netflix account and you should see the tab labeled " instantly to your tv" Follow the instructions and it will give you a code which you will then have to enter on your tv.
