Look at on MyComputer, you must as administrator too do it.
1. right click -> manage
2. find "Local user & Group" -> Users
3. find your name -> Right click "Properties"
4. Type on full name with Your Change New Name.
To change your profile name on your notebook,go to start button on your desktop then click setting then go to control panel,then select the user account..you can now change your profile name and password if you like to create a password..just follow instruction on how to change your accounts user...see attached picture..

I am assuming it is still running Windows XP. Here is what to do:
1. Click the "Start" menu.
2. Select "Control Panel".
3. When the Control Panel appears, select "User Accounts".
4. When the "User Accounts" window appears, underneath "Or pick an account to change", click your account name.
5. Click "Change my name".
6. Enter in a new account name and click "Change Name".
Go into control panel, then select user profiles.
in user profile syou get the option to chnage your name.
