Drivers for Samsung ML-1610 are available here at Samsung official site

Select the operating system (e.g. Windows XP) and download the driver file. Double-click the download file and follow the on-screen instruction to install the printer.

if you need to install the printer , go these links -- drivers, manual and installation guide

prepare your power cable and data transfer cable.

go to the last link, download the driver (at the word FILE, select it and download) for corresponding operating system you have, save on desktop. disconnect the printer from computer, install drivers. Follow instructions and finally reconnect printer to power and to computer. restart computer. printer will function.

XP or XP-PRO dosent matter, did you downloaded the right drivers? there are 2 diferent ones of that printer. Here is both of them:

Hi,

There would be two things to ensure Vista compatibility of the Samsung ML-1610.
1. Download and install Vista update/patch for USB core components here and/or here;
2. Download and install Vista compatible Samsung ML-1610 drivers here.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
