I spilled some water on my Toshiba Satellite M45 laptop, the computer turns on but the monitor wont show anyting
Spilling water or any liquid fries components, so this is going to be hardware replacement instead of an easy software fix. Let's perform an easy test to see if the machine is working properly, and narrow down the source of the problem. Connect an external monitor to the laptop, If everything works properly on the external, then the screen is fried and will need replaced. If you still have a black screen with the external, then the video card is fried and will need replaced. On some models the video card is integrated into the motherboard, and the motherboard will have to be replaced in order to fix it. Try this and let me know.
Man your toast. Google JB Technologies, they specialize in laptop repair. Good thing you admit the water thing b/c alot of latops have a special chem on the motherboard that changes color if exposed to water or liquid.
