My Plantronic 230/R explorer headset completely lost it's charge. When connected to its charging adapter the red light come, stays red for a few minutes then goes out without charging the headset device. The same thing happens when the charging process is done. Is there a fix or reset for this headset since this happened once before in the past about three months ago and the Plantronic 230/R unit starting working again until last week? The link below on page 7 has the sequence for turning on your headset (Explorer 230 and 220 work the same). If you're still having problems, then it needs to replaced.

I would try deleting the headset from your phone. Do a re pair or subscribe to your phone. I am sending you a Plantronic user guide for the Explorer 220.

Defective battery go to their website and call them if your under warranty (I year I believe)

Here are a few steps to review before coming to the realization that your battery could be wasted. Give them a try and see if it helps any.
1) While your headset is charging, the indicator glows red. When your
headset is fully charged, the indicator turns off.
2) Turn off the headset: Press and hold the call control button until the indicator glows red. You will hear descending tones. When power is off, indicator stays off.
3) Turn on the headset: Press and hold the call control button until the indicator glows blue. You will hear ascending tones.

have it completely charged and off then turn it on holding the power button until you see it flashing blue then red then connect to phone and use code 0000

hold down both buttons together for about 20 seconds... blue light should come on and work properly again...

Explorer 230 went into solid blue light the second time I used it. Fixed mine by letting the headset go completely dead and re-charged and it appears to work fine now.

I SOLVED THE PROBLEM
LET THE HEADSET RUN DOWN, THEN PUT IT ON CHARGE,RED CHARGING LIGHT CAME ,CHARGED FOR 2 HOURS, THEN PAIRED TO 6300, WORKING OK.
