The code page says H4 indicates multiple errors have occurred. This generated a "safety fault rendering the lift unusable and a fault code of H4. The code sheet simply advise to contact the authorized Acorn dealer for support. My guess is this is a minor problem simply due to some unknown procedural step not being taken and is likely readily addressed. I suspect something equivalent to a system reset will have to be performed. You could try turning the power switch located on the stair life for 30 seconds, then turning it back on for a reset. This might clear the error and return functioning. It is equivalent to pulling the power plug. Here is a YouTube about changing the batteries. Possibly the unknown step might be mentioned in the YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEDq3qpPbZ0
H4-00 generally means low temperature of the fuser. Check heater lamp, thermistor touching fuser drum surface, contacts and connections. It can be an electronic module failure, can require repair/exchange.
