"load plain paper" message appears, and after loading plain paper, it does not dissapear. after restarting the printer it says ready to print, but then the message comes up once a print job is requested.
For some reason, our printer will not stop displaying the message "Load MPF Plain Letter 1" even though there is paper loaded. We have tried restarting it & have messed with it several times to no avail. Please help!

Make sure that you have set the same paper type on both the printer driver and on the printer itself, using the on-printer menu. When I get this message, I usually had forgotten to change the paper type on the printer.

More info would be helpful. Like exactly what is the control panel message. However, from your description it sounds like the machine is looking for a paper size or type not loaded or wants paper loaded in the manual feed tray. Check your driver and see which paper tray is selected and what type paper as well as checking the printer to see if the tray is set to plain paper or some other type.
Push something thicker than a plain sheet of paper through. Cut a side of a manilla folder into a 8.5"x11" and let the printer try to grab it during a copy. After doing it's normal "grab the right side until it's skewed and stop", continue to try to push it through.
There are paper feed from begining to end Im gonna say this is a manuel to static printer this is simple in the sense that you do not need to really do anything accept keep it clean. When you drop the paper in the printer you need too let feed dont stick it in there let it sit in the carrier and the printer should grab it if not You may have gotten a lemmon Take it back and tell them HEY IM NO ******!!!!!!!! You know that
