The audio outputs on your receiver are shorted and the parts must be replaced in order for it to work again, the overload protect kicks in to prevent further damage to the device when this happens.

Can u hook an eq 2 the jvc rx 8000v

Hello Clyde, you can connect your EQ2 to the JVC RX 8000v
I sent you the user manual of the JVC RX 8000v to guide you
you have to connect it as if it were a cassette
From the Rec Out of the Cover or MD, in the JVC to the equalizer line input and the equalizer line output to Play In in the JVC
this you can see on page 6
I hope you get it connected
Greetings Franco Dosil

When i turn on receiver JVC rx-6032v it says overload

Overload indicates a short in the audio output semiconductors, check speaker wires for shorts, if okay! you will need a professional to assess cost to replace outputs.

Overload flashs

there will be 6 amp circuit in your receiver. you can't unplug them one by one. with a multi-meter you may be able to find the shorted channel. (most JVC receivers use discrete circuits instead of an output IC) Check for shorted transistors attached to the heat sink. You will possibly find some open resistors also. Generally this is a job for a pro.
