Most places even if you have a warranty wont fix a broken screen mine has the same problem so i bought a digitized touch screen replacement on Amazon.

I hate to say this, has anyone accidentally hit the front of the screen? That's the only way the spider web pattern can develop. If that's the case, a new display is in order, and will cost as much if not more that a new 42".

i have a 47" inch lcd sanyo t.v. and my kids accidentally shot it with an air-soft gun. and there is a crack where the pellet hit and there is also a crack running down that spot. Also the screen has these lines running up and down the screen. Different colors. and i was wondering if it was possible to fix.

only solution is replacing entire screens. very expensive, try finding manufacturer on internet.

yes, there are screens available in the market. a variable price in between 350.00 dllrs to 700.00 just the part is needed. plus labor.

can't be fixed becase the entire panel is broken. it is cheaper to replace, because wit labor, parts, ect it would be to expensive

It sounds like the " RED GUN" may be out of alignment.
I suggest unpluging TV while it is ON* and let it stay off for 15 or more minutes to drain off power. Replug it and see. then we can go from there.

The PDP is the most expensive part of the unit. You can try to buy one and replace it but I think you'll find that the cost is pretty high.

It may almost be worth the cost of a new unit depending.

See if you can locate some place to buy the display or a service center willing to sell you one. But be advised it's going to be painful to see the price tag.
