When i try to print by hp laser jet p1005 the red led is flashing then error appear (firmware download error) the printer was unable to communicate with your computer
what can i do to solve this problem

To properly install your HP Laserjet P1005 Printer on Windows 7 32 bit, you will have to download new drivers. You have two options:
Option One: You can download the new driver as well as the corresponding software package here: Click Here.
Option Two: You can download just the driver, but must follow a specific set of instructions if you do not want the accompanying software package. You can do this by going here: Click Here.

unplug the usb from the computer. try uninstalling the printer from the control panel.
then reboot the computer and plug the usb back in so that it will reinstall.

hp will never tell you but this error is a kind of a catch all error basically the service manual says to reload the firmware. check the file you are sending. i have seen a bad file cause this error. hope this helps.
