I have a samsung es25 camera. when i press the power button, the green LED comes on but then nothing happens on the screen or the lense. How can i fix? Thanks

The green light only means the memory card is getting power. That nothing else comes on indicates a serious problem that requires a trip to your local camera shop for help.

mine is doing the same thing. but my lense wont even close. and when i press the button to power on the green light comes on then beeps, then goes off. so if you get a word on how to fix it let me know.

Make sure you are using the correct batteries, and that they are installed correctly. Some cameras require more powerful kinds of batteries and will not work with the cheaper kinds.
A blinking light can mean something is wrong with the power, not enough or something else.
If you have a power adapter or can get one, you may try that, to see if the camera will work without batteries. If it does, then some problem exists in the battery circuit.

Sounds like you need a new camera. The lenses on digital cameras are super sensitive - if you force it in - it's probably done for.

when you press the power button does it show a green light?

try using batteries with 2500mAh/ 1.5 volts or higher

Very common problem, you have a bad lens. Unless under warranty the camera may be history.

press the button that has an "i" next to it, because that will make the screen turn on

If green LED is blinking constantly when camera is turned on, this is a known problem with D70. Upgrade camera firmware from nikonusa.com website.

I was borrowing the camera so the simple solution was quality long life batteries than the cheap versions (even though they were new) I had installed.
