Boss oethe left side of my headphone is stop working

Hi,

The most common cause for this, is a loose wire connection to that speaker (as opposed to the speaker being faulty).

Has anyone pulled the cord too tight or tripped on the cord? If yes, then the internal wire connecting that speaker has an internal break somewhere.

Try the following:

1) Plug headphones into music device and turn on.
2) Gently press the wire 'in' at the left earpiece (or wiggle at the earpiece end). If sound returns intermittently, then you have n internal wire break in that end of the cord.
3) Gently press the wire 'in' at the plug where it connects to your player (or wiggle the cord at the plug end). If sound returns, then there is an internal wire break at this end of the cord.

In the case of broken internal wires, it is possible to repair.

Although very fragile, it is possible to resolder these tiny wires (you'll have to burn off the enamel coating around these wires first) back onto their respective connections, or onto a new plug.

Good luck....

The metal end piece of my skull candy headphones completely broke off. I believe its called the jack. Its the piece where you plug the headphones into an ipod or mp3 player and i was just wondering if...

You can get to buy the headphone jack from any electronic store . Take the broken sample along to make it easy for the shop to give you the part. ( since two sizes are available).
Now within the jack you can solder in the two channels L&R and the common ground into the outer.

My headphone plug has broke of in my laptop so i have no sound output what do i do ??

Hmmm..
1. You have to use a small pair of "needle nose" pliers to get that out of the jack.

2. Invest in a set of USB headphones or Bluetooth headphones while you try to get the plug out of the jack.

USB headphones ($20 ~ $50)

Hope this helps...

The sound does not come in through my headphones unless the plug is slightly pulled out, in which case it sometimes drops out. Also what sort of attachments do you need to play the Sandisc Sansa 8gb...

1st problem. You need to either check the headphones. Check the number of rings around the end of the headphone, make sure it is 2 and not 1.

If that does not help, check with a computer technician and let them take a look at the audio port, it might be broken inside.

If your music centre "which i think you are referring to your music system in your house" once that has RCA out put, you can purchase an RCA cable with two "1 Red and 1 Yellow plug at one end" and "1 male jack at the other end black" That will help you, i use the same system in my car.

You prob need to check your local electronic store for a compatible device for your Sansa to stick in like the Ipod. However there is an alternative from amazon, which I find kool.

check out the possible options.

My left earbuds on my JVC gummy earphones went out.

I have this problem all the time with my JVC earbuds. This may sound a little gross but it will work. I put the ear phone in my mouth and **** on the end of it pretty hard. What I have found is that sweat or even wax will plug the little hole and prevent the sound from coming out.

Broken headphone tip in headphone jack

Only thing I can think of is to use a very small drill bit and drill into the broken tip and then pull it out very carefully.Try this at your own risk.
