Hello, i cannot connect my headset (ASUS HS-1000W) with my playstation 3.i ve check it with my laptop and it connected.the flash light is green but not steady.i ve done all the procedure from the manual

Switch on or off
To switch on, press and hold the

The headset beeps, and the green

headset tries to connect to a paired

headset appears in the phone menu

Please follow the below steps to connect your head set to mobile.


1. Ensure that your mobile device is switched on and the headset is off.

2. Press and hold the power key of headset for about 5 seconds until the green indicator light starts to flash quickly.

3.Activate Bluetooth connectivity on your mobile , and set it to search for Bluetooth devices.

4. Select the headset from the list of found devices.

5. If necessary, enter the passcode 0000 to pair and connect the
headset to your device.

When the headset is connected to your device and is ready for use, the green indicator light flashes about every 5 seconds.

To enter pairing mode the turn the headset off. Then start holding the middle button again till the headset turns one (green light + tone), but keep on pressing it till it starts to flash alternating red and green. The PS3 should be able to pick it up withing seconds. My **** manual specifically said that the headset should be off. Which is not true.

I had the same problem... with my laptop, using vista. I plugged the mic dirrectly into my laptop and for some miracle, it works! try it out! ^-^

PUT H700 HEADSET IN PAIRING MODE

1. Ensure the headset is turned off (indicator light not blinking and headset
boom is closed)
2. Press and hold the Call button. After about 4 or 5 seconds, the indicator
light becomes steadily lit in magenta
3. Release the Call button and immediately open the headset boom. The
indicator light remains lit in magenta.

If the indicator light is flashing in blue or not steadily lit when opening the
headset boom, repeat steps 1 through 3

Then on your phone, search for new bluetooth devices and connect. the defaault code for the HS is 0000

what is the passcode for my HS815 ?

Nokia HS-3 is a stereo headset.
Your phone does not support stereo.
So Use mono Headsets like HS-5.
Nokia 9300 is a stereo supported phone and hence works with the headset fine.

I had this problem. I fixed it doing follow: hold volume keys together, so the indicator is flashed red and green (reset to default settings mode). Then press power button to turn the headset off. Then turn it on again and try to find the headset again from my phone. Then select "pair" from phone menu and typed "0000". The led stopped flashing and headset was connected. Before this my phone couldn't see the headset at all. Hope it will help you! (sorry for my English, I'm from Russia =))

hey kev.. all i can ask you is ... the following 1) open the ear piece of the non working .. then take a multimeter (keep meter in resistance mode) and check the resitance if its good it will show you.. apx 32 0hm and if its showing you 0 or .1 or below 16 ohms.. 2) after you disconnect the speaker.. the broken one that is... chek the cable connectivity.. or rather continuity.. for this keep the meter in continuity mode the pervious resistance mode.. then take one wire and connect one prob from meter to it.. and take the other prob and connect ti too the pins of the cnnector.. ( here is there are 4 pins dedicated to the ear phone.. 2 for each.. nd they are towards the end sid.. just below the # key.. frm # key the last 4 pins connectors are for audio.. ) check the.. pins on the cord connector not the phone.. i hope you can find what wrong with your... head set now.. and yeah if the speaker is out jsut replace both the ear piece with sony or aiwa earphones.. it wil work best if your cable is gone then all the best buy a new one tc aditya
