There is an obstruction after the shut off to the hot water hose that feeds the washer. Shut off the hot water, disconnect the hot water hose from the washer, and hold the end in the washer tub. Open the hot water shut off. If now water comes out the problem is in the hose. Replace or clear obstruction. Make sure washer at hose end is in place before reconnecting to washer.

If how water flows, inspect the input hose connection to the washer. Some have a screen filter that my be clogged with sediment or other debris. Clean and try again.

If still no hot water, there is likely a problem with the hot water solenoid valve inside the washer itself. You'll have to remove and probably replace the valve or coil (or assembly).

Hot water fills very slow(30 MIN OR MORE TO FILL) good water flow from spicket to washer, screens are clear. sewems to be something with the washer its self

Might be a bad inlet valve. To confirm, swap the hot and cold hoses to your washer so that the cold water feeds the hot water connection and the hot water feeds the cold water connection. Turn off both hot and cold water faucets. Set the washer for a warm water wash. Turn on the cold water faucet, and check the flow. Then turn off the cold water faucet, and turn on the hot water faucet and check the flow. If the cold water flow fill slowly, then the problem is with the inlet valve.

It an easy part to obtain from an appliance supply house. To install disconnect the hoses to the back of the machine, and remove the back panel to get access to the valve. Should only take a couple of minutes to remove and install. Hope this helps you.

Bosch front loading washer slowly fills with clean water unattended

The water inlet valve has a very small leak in it. There are two valves in the bosch, one for hot water one for cold. You will need to determine whether the water in the washer is coming from the hot or cold. May sound easy but since it is such a slow leak you may not just be able to reach in and feel the temp of the water. It may be room temp. after sitting for a long period of time. To determine just shut off one valve at a time on your wall spickets for the a day or however long it takes to notice the water and then try the other. Not so bad. Replace the valve that is leaking and you are back in business.

Kenmore washing machine 110.20922990 cold water filling slowly

Good day,
As far as cleaning the screen, you can pry it out and toss it. It may serve you for a while. The option, is to remove the valve completly, and clean it under running water with something like a stiff toothbrush.

Note: If the hot side is filling decently, then the cold water side of the valve is swelling internally, and the valve needs replaced.
In this area, the parts houses sell a GE universal water valve that is very good, and might be cheaper than the original. It's all I use.
Part # WH13X81.

Maytag Performa wont fill hot water

The water fill valve - The water fill valve is a mechanical and electrical part, the coils on the valve need electricity to mechanically open the valve to allow the water to flow into the washer....myth....the washer pumps water into itself...no, it does not. The fill valve opens and the house water pressure pushes the water into the washing machine.
No cold water or no hot water - The fill valve has two coils, one for the hot water and one for the cold water. It is possible that one of the coils can fail and you loose that filling ability. If the cold water coil quits, the hot will still work and during warm fill you will get hot water only and during a cold fill you will get no water at all. If the hot coils quits, you will still have cold water fill, cold water only on a warm setting and no water on a hot fill setting. You can test a fill valve live for 120 volts, power to a fill valve coil and no fill = a bad fill valve. You can also test the coils for continuity, no continuity = a bad fill valve. Some Maytag washers have a fuse in the fill valve circuit, if this fuse let go the washer will not fill. Fill valves can also from time to time stick open and not stop filling. My kemore 80 series washer will not fill up

Check to see if there's good water volume coming through the hoses attached to the washing machine. If there is, check to see if the screens inside the water-inlet valve are clean. (The water-inlet valve is the device on the washing machine that the fill hoses are attached to.) If they're clean, you probably have a defective water-inlet valve. If so, you should completely replace the valve.
------------------------
The water-level switch regulates your washer's fill volume. This switch is usually a diaphragm device with a small, clear tube attached between the switch and the bottom of the washer's outer tub. As the water level in the tub increases, the pressure on the air in the tube increases. When the pressure reaches a certain level, it activates the switch, shuts off the water, and signals the timer to begin the agitate cycle. If the switch is defective, it may prematurely signal the water to shut off. If so, you probably need to replace the water-level switch.
