I have a Maytag front loading machine, and I noticed that on the sanitary, whitest whites, heavy duty and rapid wash cycles that the spin speed is only at high. It states that these should be at extra high. I have tried to select the extra high speed but it won't allow me to select it. Please advise

The heavy jacket prevented the washer from spinning at a rapid pace, so I added a heavy bathrobe to absorb some of the water and to balance the load. The washer then spun very quickly and drained out all the water.
If the washer does not come equipped with a "Clean" cycle, then run the washer on it's hottest setting. "Sanitary" or "Whitest Whites" will do. Hope this helps.
