Hi Turn the computer on while pressing F1 several times as it loads. Did it load? Now try same procedure but press F8 instead. This opens the BIOS setup page.Don't change anything but 'save changes and exit'.
This is when you do not have any website entered on your address bar. There is a setting on your browser that uses the blank page as the home page so that whenever you open your browser it will not load any website, then you may type your preferred website in the address bar. This saves time for you to go to a website without waiting for the home page to load.
If you would like to setup a home page, follow the steps below:
If you are using Internet explorer: Go to Tools -> Internet Options. Change the Home page to any website that you want (ex. google.com, yahoo.com). Then OK.
If you are using Firefox: Go to Tools -> Options. On the drop down button beside "When Firefox starts" select Show my home page, then enter any website that you prefer on the home page field.
When after signing in to Yahoo mail you get 'opening page about:blank' problem, this is not caused by a virus, trojan, or anything like that! Yahoo have been making changes to the appearance of their home page and also their e-mail. As a result, the screen resolution of 800 x 600 on many PCs will no-longer allow you to sign in. Try changing your screen resolution to 1024 x 768
hi, i'm trying to log in as well, but my page looks like its loading and screen stays blank, if and when it does load it says 2 items left to download and sit there doing nothing
If you have a DSL or cable modem with the same ip address, this problem will occur. Disconnect your ISP modem and connect your computer only to your router, and then open the config page, and change the ip address of the router to prevent future issues
