Using the menu or settings button on your remote, access the TV's menu and find the area for picture settings and zoom. You're likely set to a zoom mode, so cycle through the options until you find the zoom setting that sizes to your TV best. (On most widescreens, the best picture is often on the setting 'panarama.'

The tv picture is to big for the screen. Wondering how to fix this?

Hello; All HDTV's have an "aspect ratio" option on the remote control. It may be named something else. You can choose horizontal stretch which makes people look fatter than they are, Zoom which cuts off top bottom and sides of the pix and others. Just choose the one you like best. Hope this helps! LG TV MODEL 442L0520 SERIAL 005RMKUA3341 PICTURE IS TOO BIG FOR THE SCREEN,K TOP AND SIDES CUT OFF. WHEN WATCHING SPORTING EVENTS, SCORES CANNOT BE SEEN.

You need to go into the TV menu and change the settings for the display! Press the Menu button and adjust the Picture! It's probably set to automatic and not reading them correctly.

My tv zooms in and changes the format.

This is normal - you are zooming in on the picture. Most people use the zoom feature to "stretch" a widescreen movie so it will fit the screen.

Cant see all of screen

You should have a button or setting on the remote that says "picture size" or "aspect". One of those is set too "zoom" mode which will cut off the bottom and top of the frames. You want it to be in 16:9,Normal or Full mode (or whatever your set call it) to get the correct aspect. Or if you have a HD satellite rcvr. you might of placed it in the zoom mode as well.
