I have connected the DVD and VCR to the Nakamichi AV-10. However I don't know how to output to TV.
I don't have the manual as I am helping my friend setting it up.

Does it have two separate inputs? Then connect it to these. If it does not have, buy a manual switch that can take one output from three inputs, and can be selected by a sliding switch. Then connect the DVD and VCDR to its inputs, and connect the output to your TV. If the TV has S-Video, connect the four RCs from VCR to TV and connect the DVD to your TV in its AV in.
Select AV-1 or some thing in TV and plug DVD recorder Video-Audio output in AV-1 input of TV, playback any DVD and confirm its picture and sound in TV. Press Stop button of DVD recorder to stop playback. Now plug Video-Audio output of VCR in DVD recorder input and select AV Input in DVD recorder, insert VHS tape in VCR and playback it and confirm you get VHS picture and sound in TV via DVD recorder. Hookup between TV, DVD recorder and VCR is completed. Playback VHS tape in VCR, Insert blank DVD disc in DVD recorder and press Record while you see VHS tape picture in TV. Hope this info will help you.
This TV doesn't have an AV input, so there are no input jacks other than the antenna connector. If you want to connect a device that has only AV outputs (your red, white and yellow plug) you will need an RF converter. This will take the AV signals and convert them to a channel 3 or 4 signal you can tune in on the set.
But since you don't seem interested in spending any money, you'll probably not like to hear that the converter runs around $15 most places. Take heart, there is an alternative. Find a VCR (if you don't have one already) that has an RF output. Many of the the newer DVD/VCR combos only have AV outputs. You're looking for one that has an "out to TV" threaded connector on the back. These units already have an RF converter built in. Connect your AV plugs to the line in jacks on the VCR and switch to that input, and you can use your video game or DVD player through the VCR.
Make sure you have your VCR connected to the recorder by either the ANTENNA cable or 3 A/V cords. Make sure the recorder is on whatever output channel the VCR is set on (switch on the back of the VCR) for RF, or that the VCR is set for AV output and the recorder is set for Input 1 for the back of the recorder. You should be able to see a picture on the recorder of what's playing on the VCR. If you got that far, then you should be able to record the incoming program using the menu features of the RCA 8030. I hope this helps. I need a manual for this machine if anyone has one.
a dvd or vcr has connections called AV this means audio/video inputs and outputs
a tv has inputs some even outputs.
the out puts from a dvd should be connected to the input of your tv both audio and video
later set your tv at AV channel
note AV has no showers small spots on your screen, the one with showers is a RF
Connect the AV output of the Sky box to the AV input of the Panasonic combo.Look at rear of the Combo and you will observe input and output RCA connections.Using RCA leads, hookup the Av output of the Panasonic to the audio/video input of the Sony tv. Power up Appliances, and you should be OK.
Unhook the dvd cables from the AV1 ports on the tv. Then hook these DVD outputs to the inputs on the vcr. Then hook the vcr outputs to the tv inputs (AV1). The tv and the vcr must then be set to channel 3 in order to watch the dvd (and possibly also some menu settings such as setting everything to "component video" and/or setting the tv/vcr button to "vcr. Also set all "3 or 4" switches on the back of all equipment to channel 3. Also, don't forget to go into your tv menu and choose AV1 when you want to watch the dvd and/or the vcr.
You can also try connecting your dish to the vcr and then the vcr to the input on the tv where you HAD the dish connected. There are several combinations you can try, but just remember to always put output cables to the INPUTS of the next piece of equipment in line, and set your menu settings appropriately on all equipment whenever you change from one machine to the next.
If all this fails, then here is a 100% positive solution. Buy an "A/B" switch. It has two inputs and only one output. You could leave the dvd connected as is and connect the dish and the vcr to the two inputs on the A/B switch. Then hook the one output of the A/B switch to the tv. When you change the position of the A/B switch back and forth, you will be changing over back and forth from dvd to vcr. You can move the A/B input selection switch manually or you can buy a remote controlled A/B switch and do your switching with the remote that comes with the switch.

Hi,
Based on your post/description:
1. the TV is stuck to A/V;
2. you have two video sources - VHS & DVD (assuming both are external and both have A/V outputs with the VCR also with inputs);
3. you want to use either VHS & DVD, one at a time.
You can do it the old fashion way, remove yellow, red, white RCA connectors from DVD and plug them at the outputs of the VHS when you want to use the VCR; or
Connect the A/V outputs of the DVD to the inputs of the VCR, connect the outputs of the VCR to the A/V inputs of the LXI TV.
Hopes this give you an idea. Post back how things are or should you need further information.
Good luck and kind regards.
