First thing to check would be the bottom and back of the inside of the freezer and see if you have any ice build up if you did this would be a defrost issue you can read more about this if you do have ice by clicking this link http://applianceoutletservice.com/appliance-care-tips/refrigerator-tips/refrigerator-defrost-system-information.htm another thing you can check is the door seals if you have a rip tear or pinch in the door seals this causes condensation to build up or if you also have water that is on the door there is a line that goes through the bottom of the hinge that brings water to the water dispensor you basicly need to find out where the water comes from remove the rear panel inside the freezer if you dont see ice just to double check there is a small drain hole under the condensor that sometimes also freezes up with ice in some units so look further into where the water is coming from and message me back if you have any further questions and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations in the future Thanks Rick

Water is dripping from the bottom of the fridge (slow drip). How do I fix it. I have a Maytag French Door stainless steel fridge (4-year-old) with freezer on the bottom.

There should be a drip tray catching the defrost water... it may be overfull... Try to remove it and empty it. The tray is actually supposed to have a heat evaporator to dry up the water before it overflows. Your may be fuller due to excessive frost also... from hot temperatures outside or opening the fridge too often or for too long... good luck!

My refrigerator expelled water tonight. Whe I woke, this morning, I found the floor with water. Can you tell me what could be happening?

if the drain is blocked in the freezer water can leak out onto the floor if it's leaking out of the frezer door.open the door and check the bottom rack,if it's frozen in or ice is on the floor of the freezer then it's the drain.also if you have a water line going to the machine one of the water lines could have cracked.let me know what you find and we can go from there

Ice in bottom of frezer

make sure your doorgasket is sealing correctly. if the water runs out it shows that the defrost heater is working.

Water on the floor from the defroster.

either the freezer drain is cloged or frozen or ther is condensation still inside the door witch will go away.asuming you got that new gasket to seal right.(the frezer drain is located behind the back wall of the freezer)

Water leaks out of freezer once or twice per day

is there water frozen on the frezer floor.if yes your defrost drain is froze over.it only happens a few times a day because happening when its going into defrost, the water melts on the frezer evaporater then should go in the drain.if blocked it then runs on floor.you could turn of your refer for 8 hours or so.or get to the bottom of frezer behind back frezer panel[remove]and use a hair dryer to thaw drain use a weed eater line with a knott on an end to push thru and pull out the other side.the knott would clean any stuff in the drain line.ps watch out for water and electricty.i hope this helps God bless, tom

Icemaker is not making ice

is there water in your icemaker.if so then its up to icemaker to do its part.frezer temps must be near 0 degrees.if no water in icemaker is the line in the back of the frezer frozen [top back where water passes thru frezer wall into frezer section.if its not frozen,am i then getting voltage to the water valve when the ice maker cycles.if not then icemaker is bad.if your ice bucket is on the door[whirlpool, kenmore]there are boards in the frezer section that can fail.i know that dosen't tell you what the problem is .but it does give you somthing to go on with.God bless ,tom

Hi I am the lady with the freezer that keeps icing up at the bottom and then dribbles water from the door when you open the door. Did you say to pull the freezer out and do something at the back of unscrew the little panel that is inside the freezer at the bottom?
