Most microwaves have trays that can be removed and cleaned. Make sure you don't use it again before cleaning it. try soaking it in water over night or putting wet towel on it. Then scraping it off tomorrow while it's still damp

How do I cook an individual frozen pie in my Panasonic convection/grill/microwave

To cook an individual frozen pie in your Panasonic convection/grill/microwave, you can follow these steps:

Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Remove the pie from its packaging and place it on a microwave-safe plate.
Place the plate in the center of the microwave and close the door.
Press the "Convection" button on your microwave and set the temperature to 375°F.
Set the timer for 25 minutes.
Press "Start" to begin cooking.
After 25 minutes, check if the pie is cooked by inserting a toothpick into the center of the pie. If it comes out clean, your pie is ready! If not, continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes until it is fully cooked. This is a general guide and there might be variance with your particular device.

We recently had a rag burnt in the microwave. The smell is awful. Is it safe to keep on using the microwave?

Microwaving cloth is not a good idea. Rather than drying out the moisture (or for whatever reason it was put in the oven), microwaving it will just make the water really, really hot! You could easily burn yourself trying to handle the item. The heat could also damage the fabric itself or even ignite it....which it looks like happened.

The microwave oven should be safe to use but you need to remove the odor.

A couple of ways to try to get rid of the burnt odor:
Fill a microwavable bowl with 1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon white vinegar.
  1. Microwave it for 4-5 minutes and leave it with the door shut for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Steam will loosen smell-causing detritus stuck to the walls. ...
  3. After the waiting period, remove the bowl and wipe the inside of the microwave down with a paper towel.
A different way is put two tablespoons of baking soda in a microwave safe bowl and add a cup of water on top of that. Then put the bowl in the microwave for three minutes. The baking soda will kill the funky smells and the water will start to steam clean the spots and stains.
Good luck with your troubleshooting.

I just acquired a kaiser dial-o-matic d-301 pie press and i have never used one is there a manual out there

Hi there,
Looked for any available manuals online and it seem that even when the unit was bought brand new the manufacturer (Kaiser) does not include a user manual with it.
Maybe they are thinking that people who are going to buy their machines knows how to use them.
Really sorry that we did not find anything.
Thanks!

I turned on the cordless electric kettle without water! the metal rod inside the kettle turned black? was it burnt? i tried boiling water again and it worked. but is the metal rod toxic or not? can i still...

Yes, if your worried, use a fine emory paper to clean off the tarnish from the heat scorch. You may have shortened the life a little on the element but it is fine as long as it is not spalling, of flaking.

My sharp convection oven is beyond a quick wipe! How do I get all the baked on mess out? Is it possible to make it look new again?

place a tablespoon of dish soap(Dawn, Palmolive etc.) in a mug of water and boil in microwave for a few minutes. Watch it and do not let it boil dry. This will soften the mess and it will wipe out for you. Doing the same with lemon juice will freshen the oven afte a bout with bacon or burnt popcorn.
