install cakewalk pro again,,,then uninstall..

Just search for the model of your PC on Google. You should be able to find a PDF of the manual. Plus any updates it will need.
Windows 8.1 will have help built into it and tutorials to help you adjust. There will be also videos on YouTube about going from one OS to Windows 8. Plus there are books about Windows 8 called Windows 8 For Dummies. Your local library should have one.

That seems to be in the midi time sync functions. In cakewalk under options find the midi settings and choose midi device. All of you clock and sync settings should be there. Also I think under the audio menu there are settings for folders and I think a tab for sync is there as well. I use Sonar, which is an upgrade of cakewalk but used cakewalk for a long time. I have it on another computer and will look later to see if I am forgetting something or remembered it wrong and let you know.

Guitar tracks Pro 3 is not compatible with windows 7.

They use pre-programed chips. You will have to use the midi out feature to control another midi capable sound module or midi in to a computer and use the internal sound card.

Options>Audio>Advanced.......

Select "MME" from the Driver Mode dropdown menu....

this worked fine for me......

What computer are you using?

Certain early models of the Sound Blaster cannot do both MIDI input and wave (audio) output at the same time. Thus, if you've selected "Creative Labs" as a MIDI In device in Cakewalk’s Options | MIDI Devices dialog, wave audio output won't work. Note that MIDI output will work fine along with wave audio output: you can select Creative Labs from the list of MIDI Out devices. The problem occurs only when you've selected the Creative Labs MIDI In device.
